Actually, the 70 will have a wood grain panel going across the top. I don't think I have a pic, but I'm sure some one will...

This brings up the missing bow tie on one of your panels. I have one with, and one without, and I can't figure out why for the life of me.

Here are a couple pics of the door panels out of my '70 SCT/20 Longhorn (the blue one...RIP)
Note, they have been painted black and installed in the 69 GMC, but these are in fact 70 panels.
None of the pics are very good for this example, becouse the door panles were not the subject....but they are able to be seen though.

The panel with the emblem was a first series issue of the 69 door panel...later on in the year it went to no emblem.

If I remember correct without looking it up...the vinyl panels were available in the custom package...if you ordered the cst package you got the wood grain strip.

I had a 69 GMC "custom" parts truck with vinyl green panels in it, just like yours but without a bowtie..I assumed it was like that because it was a GMC panel, not a chev. Of course, I couldn't get anyone to buy them so I tossed em out so I can't post any pics

The GMC first series door panel of 1969 had a GMC instead of the Chev bowtie.

Weird, the metallic dark green door panels on my truck have the woodgrain trim, but it's not a CST truck. It originally had Custom/20 emblems on it. Guess it doesn't matter?
