71 cab on 79 chassis
what do you guys think, if body frame brackets were swapped, woul dit be a bad job to get 71 cab and 68 clip on a 79 chassis with the 79 bed still on it ? i got a 79 with no motor for 25 tonight, but cab is trash, but brakes and all are fine which is a plus, is ready for motor and th350 to go in. i need a frickin truck so damn bad right now..this sucks, cnat find any anymore, theyre gone,..,

Fast what happened to the one you was putting together? No offense but your worse than my 12 year old that keeps taking his bike apart and putting it back together. To answer your question you know it will work Mudder did it. I guess who ever voted one day on the poll was correct.

no, im parting out everything still, the 79 is a 78 silverado actually, theres no way i could do this right swap now, the id have to find a longtail th350 and exhaust and stuff still. i just need a truck of some kind, but thats not happening, i was just thinking, cant find any damn trucks anymore, not any that are complete, or safely driveable, this 78 is so severely rusted out that the rockers are literally gone, there are none when you open the doors you see the ground, the doors dont shut anyways. pickings are very slim anymore for any year of trucks to find
the 71 needs exhaust and all brakes system and etc etc too, i cant win any way i go about it. i cant be spending $$ on junk, im supposed to be saving for tuition,..... |

fast if you need a truck that bad i got a 69 body with out motor and tranny,with good title,i`m going to junk,you want it 50.00 come and get it.
