Needing Info?????
I am in search of information from those who have installed a big block in these year 4x4's. I am getting ready to fit mine in and I know there may be issues with clearance. I know Yukon Jack had to do some clearing, and I'm wanting to know from others out there what kind of problems you ran across and what you all had to do to get it to mount up.
Also, has anyone found that set of Dynomax ceramic coated headers wil fit in them as well? Anyone with comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks a million....... Big70chevy

There was a thread on here a little while ago about a bb swap. you might try a search for it. I think it was in a 2wd truck but it might apply to a lot of your questions. I think that the biggest problem they had was some had to masaj(sp) the firewall with a hammer or other blut object to get some clearence for the heads an vavle covers.

On my 71 4x4 no hammer work needed, only cutting was the 350 rad. shroud had to be trimmed. 1973 396 from a full size Chevy.
