question about 10 bolts

can anyone tell me for sure if the carrier out of a 10 bolt car rearend is the same as the one in a 10 bolt truck rearend? I know the splines in the spider gears would be different, but I'm going to go with a mini spool anyway so that wouldn't matter.

if they are both 8.5 diameter ring gears the parts will interchange, if they both have the same amount of splines.they used 28 splines up until 1987,starting in 1988 they went to 30 splines, hope this helps.
