I got the coolest thing from UPS today
I just recieved my offical 1967 Restoration Manual today...
ok,ok... it's not that great... but it is very interesting. It gives all Standard equipment codes list, all Optional equipment codes list, O.E. dimensions,etc... Ok, to keep from rattlin' on all day... A CST option was code Z84.. it reads Custom Sport Truck Option: Chassis Cab & Pickups only: includes bright metal grille molding, headlight bezels, vent window frames & windshield moldings, control knob trim, pedal trim, horn-button cap; chrome front bumper; special CST emblems; vinyl bucket seats with padded center console; carpeting; RH & LH armrests; RH padded sunshade; cigar lighter; special cowl insulation; underbody coating; vinyl door trim.............Z84 So, I'm sure other options overrode some, and some were changed for no reason, but this manual is cool... Did you know a stock (O.E.) truck, the top of cab was 69 1/2 inches from ground to highest center point of cab... Wow,... ok... gotta go back to reading.... OH,... call GM at 1-800-222-1020 for your truck, they are not truck vin# specific. but you need your Vin# to get that years manual... its very informative..... Good luck

this IS very good info. I have a thread on the FAQ on who to call in both the US and in Canada, and in another thread, I listed standard items, and all the RPO (Regular Production Option)listed for 67.
I started on 68 but never did finish it...that is alot of typing. |
