Hei Plug Wires
Can someone tell me what the part # is for Accel HEI spark plug wires (smallblock) or which vette ones (73-80?) will work? I want to run the wires parallel to the heads back toward the firewall and then to dizzy, not over top of the valve cover. And are they the 90 deg. boots at the plug end, search is out of service right now. Thanks

i would run something other than accel wires unless you like misfires and a nice light show under your hood at night. they do neat stuff when its wet out too. go with a taylor msd moroso just something other than the accel junk. they make awesome cap and rotors but there wires plain suck

Thanks Andy, cableguy, I've had them on my truck (accel wires) for a while now & had no problems. I've run Taylors on my bikes, hmmmm thanks for your suggestion though. Doug

69 Short Fleet, there's some intersting ignition wire info at Magnecor. Peruse the top four articles.

If you're running them below the manifolds, I just put a set on mine that I got from NAPA. Tailored fit. No cutting or crimping. Don't have the # handy right now. Will get it for you in the morning if ya want?
