I never knew they made cheyenne super stepsides...I guess less than 100 built in 72 would be why.......Beautiful truck. The tailgate is sweet...cool idea to airbrush a beech sceen in "chevrolet."

Was that airbrushed looking beach scene not a stock option? Because I am positive I've seen that before and more than one time on Chevy trucks around here. Maybe it was part of a certain trim package? or maybe just a popular stick on in the 70s or 80s?

I wonder how they came up with that number, over 22,000 short steps were built in 72, did they use the percentage factor of Super trucks built combined with the 22,000 figure??????

No idea. I don't remember ever seeing it on anything else before....

Gee_emm....I'd like to know where that number came from too....but like I said before I don't ever remember hearing of Cheyenne Super stepsides so maybe the number is right???

There were only 8, yes 8, '69 trans am convertibles ever made. 4 automatic, 4 manual, so it's a possibilty.
