Got a new toy

The local Ace Hardware owner ordered these special a couple years ago. He said there are only 12 like it in the world because it has his store on it and he only ordered 12. Not all Ace Hardware stores got them. It does seem rare to get a 67 die cast though. I like it.

You won't find one like mine anymore I don't think, not 100% sure. That one was a gift from board member "Wootdog"

hey that's the one I just bought today!I couldn't believe it when I lifted the hood and saw it had springs on the hood hinges, plug wires, heater hoses, battery cables, brake lines and the whole nine.Even valve stems on the wheels.

Unfortunately, I can't get any more. He always kept two of each and he sold me his spare. The others were sold years ago. I go through Prior Lake all the time, maybe they have some more. I can stop and check. Mine cost me 39.99 plus tax.

That 69 version is the coolest die cast I've ever seen. I have a Franklin mint 72 with the MN Vikings theme. I don't think it has as much detail. Its in the back of this picture.
