rearend

I have a 12-bolt 1/2ton rear from a late 70s Chevy that I am going to set in place of my Eaton rear. Do I need to make any mods to the driveshaft to match up to the pinion on the new rear?? The driveshaft is coming from a T400 tranny w/slip yoke. I know I have to get a crossover u-joint. Does anybody know the part#?? Also, what about the brake line?? I plan on dropping the Burb about 6", so I was going to get the Super Track Bar from ECE, so I wouldn't have to get it later and it bolts to the passenger side shock mount I believe.

I recommend a local parts store (if you've still got one that isn't staffed completely by those kids that can only do what the computer says ) armed with your cap diameters and widths for the two axes of the u-joint.

I've been told that even by application & year, it's a crap shoot without those dimensions, because GM, as we know, often used whatever was available.

Dunno about brake lines, so TTT for ya.
