Here are some pics of the wifes longhorn.It is under resto now.It is all apart still.It is a 71 longhorn.the engine was changed in it.it is supose it have the 402 but it is a 350 now.

Is that a wood kit for the longhorn in the bed? I am going to start doing a little research on what's out there for the kits.

It is.It is a pine wood kit.we ordered it in july(04) and got it in december.I think we got it for Chevy Duty but i can not remember I think it was 600 canadian for all the wood ,strips and all the hardware
Edit: measure the width of the boards before you order because they will want that.

Is tis a 1/2 ton?Judging by the hubcaps
I thought Longhorns only came in 3/4 and 1 tons.I guess someone could have swappedall the suspension out,kind of strange though.

They made an adapter trim ring so you could put the cheyenne hubcaps on the 3/4 ton 16 inch wheels

1969 C20 Longhorn

It's not a good pic from 1972 but, it's all I can find of my 69 Longhorn that was equipped with a 396/400. I haven't found any pics of my 1972 GMC 3500 Wideside with 8 1/2 bed and 402/400 setup.


as a side note that was my 1960 custom Sportster.
