Gotta love those warnings! They forgot the warning to hold on when you drop the hammer with the resulting extra traction your gonna have.

Did you do the install? How much did it run ya.

My truck still has the original sticker for it's factory installed Detroit - it reads:

This Driving Axle/s of this vehicle equipped with a NoSpin Differential for greater Traction, Safety and Economy

NoSpin postively rotate all driven wheels under power

Warning Elevate driving wheels when balancing servicing axles or brakes (See manual) Maintain uniform tire pressure

Detroit Automotive Products Corporation
11445 Stephens Drive P.O. Box 441
Warren, Michigan 48090 U.S.A.
Model No. KS-10

Mine's 33 years old and still works great - you will enjoy yours.

My rear end is out of a 1974 Chrysler Imperial, so its a 9.25" Chrysler. Its got disc brakes and its one of the stoutest rears i've ever seen, so I had to take it. It looks just like a chevy 12 bolt only alot bigger. I didn't install it myself. I don't have the tools or experience to set it up. I got the locker from Randy's ring and pinion. I can't remember how much it was, but it wasn't cheap. I got the locker and 4.10 gears. I think those with the bearings and shipping was around 800 bucks. But I figure if i'm gonna have a bad a$$ motor, 700R4, big wide tires I might as well hook them up too.
