I'm looking for ideas on how to run the line properly. I got the diagram with the kit. I got a couple of ideas just want to make sure I don't do anything I shouldn't. Any ideas, links, and photos would be cool. thanks.

Alexis,

Install the Pump as close to the tank as you can... Most Pumps are designed to Push rather than Pull, Albiet they will pull, But more efficient at Pushing..

I have My Fuel line coming out of the Blazer tank, to a Russel Fuel filter and then running through the Holley Electric Pump.. The fuel filter is as big as the Pump, and has a replaceable filter.. I Plumbed it through the filter first because I've had dirt run through and Clog the rotor in the Pump... I did have some pics., I'll check and see if I still have them..

I do have a huge filter too just trying to see where people have installed there setup on the frame. I was actually thinking on installing it(filter and pump) on the outside of the frame(check picture) and running the line inside the frame. Just incase the pump or filter crapped out on me it would be easyer to get.

i also heard of running a return line of some sort, anyone like to update me on this thought?

I have a 20 gallon fuel cell in the front of the bed on my truck and have the pump on the frame about 2 feet in front of the tank, I also have a rebuildable clear filter inbetween the tank and pump and then another one in the engine bay. I will get pics tomorrow

im going to install mine right behind the tank on the right side on the inside of the frame i thought about putting it on the outside of the frame but i thought that flying gravel ,mud,or blown tire might be aproblem. pump didnt fit in the frame so got a piece of angle iron and bolted too frame then pump too it ,john

Alex you may want to check out the copperhead build up I noticed stacy mounted the pump and filter to the inside of the frame with a bracket...
