Front fender interchange question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I know the 69-72 front fenders is different from the 68 but don´t know in what way.
Would anyone know if a cut off piece from the lower front section from a 68 fender would fit to a 71? Both are Chevy.
Any help would be appreciated.

The major differences is where and how the grill bolts on. The portion you have marked should interchange fine.
