Transmission vaccum modulator would be run directly off a intake manifold supply, usually behind carb, directly from intake.

I don't have a pic, but if memory serves correctly, the vacuum line should run along the left side of the transmision, above the pan, up the left side of the bell housing with a clamp that is attatched to the top left bell housing bolt, then connects to the intake manifold via a rubber vacuum line splice....it should go to the tee in the back of the manifold, just behind the carburetor.

The vacuum line for the transmission modulator is on the right side of the transmission housing and it is held to the housing by one of the housing mounting bolts with a tab.
If you need a pic, let me know, we have a completed frame with the transmission, etc. in place. Jim |

I'd like to see a pic. I'm experiencing a problem where my TH350 won't kick up into passing gear, and I suspect it's a vacuum problem. Would be nice to see a photo before I tackle this one. Thanks in advance.

I the vacuum mainly controls upshift. If you are not getting any vacuum it would not shift out of first gear. If you are going 45 mph,and stomp it to the floor and it won't downshift, you probably need to adjust the down shift cable.
