I have a 67 chevy 1/2 ton 250 inline 6 in tenn that has been in my family for the last 27 years. My dad and I were going to restore it but he got sick and passed before we could do anything to it. I dont have pics of the truck but from what I remember the floorboard was almost half gone on the drivers side, pass side was maybe 1/3rds gone, wood bed was toast, and the cab corners were fine. Also I noticed on the upper drivers side where the windshiled is there was some rust starting. So I guess I am asking is this repairable.

WOW!! Thumbs up and Hats off to Gee_Emm. The 67 I have is in at least that shape or worse.

Since the truck has sentimental value it makes it more desireable to fix it. Being from the rust belt, it sounds like it is fixable compared to what we work with.

go ahead and get your elbows dirty and MOST OF ALL, have fun doing it.

that definately sounds repairable just make sure you get all the rust out and new metal in and you wont have any problems for many years to come

Almost anything is fixable....the real question should be " how much time and money do I want to spend fixing it?" If it has that much sentimental value Break out the tools and have fun!
