Redneck Yard ?
Do you think think this would qualify for Blue Collar Comedy's Redneck Yard?
Just kidding. Anyway heres some pics of my "Green Machine" 70 C10 being towed home by my 68 C10 (my Dad bought it in 1974, currently being restored), and a picture of my 67 parts truck, which I stripped and sent remainder to truck heaven. Last edited by Green Machine; 03-10-2005 at 10:46 PM. |

Green Machine, can you be a little bit more specific where in northern Iowa you are located? I'm in the Fort Dodge area.

you need a tree, a firebird on cement blocks, a trans-am in the weed, and maybe a chain hanging from a tree with a car sitting under it.
Don't forget the statue made from cheap beer cans connected together like legos....... |

Not a red neck with out BUD cans littered about, trucks on blocks, and county and western music blarring! LOL. I have a few trucks and I am only a red neck due to the color of my red neck!

For it to be a real redneck truck you must have body parts which are easily I dentifiable as coming from at least 3 vehicles, or duct tape(preferably with the threads showing, primered, huge dent from hitting something while driving home drunk or getting a deer, lots of stickers,(rebel flags, hunting products, or Nascar are a +)... tobacco stains running horizonatlly down the side... then you have a redneck truck... although I see a 68-72 blue with a white top and a bunch of trash in the back behind an old farmhouse that hasn't moved ina few months... may have to investigate...

Green Machine, at least yours are in the front yard. I'm told I am a yuppee redneck because my vehicles are in the back yard. A true redneck decorates the front yard first, so you're further ahead than what I am.

American you bet! Those trucks are a fine example of American quality. I'm trying to save a few ! Guess I don't qualify for Redneck, but I feel my neck getting a little pinker all the time LOL.

My yard
My wife says this looks like we still live in Arkansas. My neighbor says he doesn't mind as long as they are facing the same direction and in numerical (chronological order), which they are not at the moment, just glad I have what little room I do have for them. Of course, this doesn't include the parts truck and the rolling frame in the backyard.
