Caliper Question

I'm swapping to a later front suspension clip before the 502 goes in. Over the years I have been collecting parts. I now find the recon calipers have a 3/8 UNC thread for the hollow hose bolt. The hoses have a 7/16 hole in the end. The hollow bolts that came off the old clip are 7/16 UNF.

At what year did this thread change?
If I get 3/8 UNC bolts can I use the hoses with the 7/16 holes?
If not, what is the part number or year for 3/8 hoses?
I have set the chassis and lines so that the hoses run down the top front of the upper arm.
Due to my location in the UK I can't ask at the local car spares outlet .

Any help appreciated!

Don't know what year they changed, but I think you'll find that they are actually 10 mm instead of 3/8. I doubt if they'll work with the 7/16 lines. I ran into this recently using a set of spindles and brakes from a 91 Suburban on a 67 pickup. I believe the bolts were listed as 10mm-1.5, the 1.5 being the length. Hope this helps a little. Frank
