Where do you connect ground straps?
Ok guys I got the groundstrap kit and the previous owner wiped out al the other ones minus the bed one so help me out here I know that you have one for each valve cover to the frame but where on the frame? One for the cab to the frame, and there are two more that I forgot about.
Thanks

Which cab mount gets it? I have 2 for thevalve covers and 3 for the cab to frame. At least that what the kit says and that all it says.

If you are just doing this to get your lights and stuff working, then it really doesn't matter where you put them.

I have not seen a cab with (5) ground straps on it. The four that I am familiar with are: (2) for the valve covers to firewall, (1) for the right front cab support to the frame mount, and (1) from the right front fender liner to the frame.

This pic is from a very low mile unrestored 72.
There was a cab to frame ground strap on the right side only on that one.

I always remove the little valve cover ones, they look really stupid to me. I pick one of the holes in the back of the cyl. head and hook a wire form there to the firewall and call it good. I still have the battery cable to the front of the pass head, then there are the straps under the cab. Should be plenty unless you are running a computor.

The inner fender to frame ground strap is often down by the lower radiator hose. I think there is a hole near the kick-up portion of the frame rail.

Ok...Maybe a stupid question, but do I need to run a strap to the frame from the engine?
