I Think I got! I think I got but..............
I got the power steering parts, now have a question regarding the steering shaft.
To make the installation easier, can the shaft be moved up and down so joint can be installed after steering box is in place? I see two small orange ( plastic ) pins in the shaft where it is stepped. Looks like the factory made an attempt at the first collapsable shaft ,to slow down the chest pain in case of a crash. There are 2 pics to show what I'm talking about. 1st is long shot and 2nd is close up showing the orange pin, actually there are 2 ( hope it came out OK ) Can I just drill out those 2 pins and slide shaft up a little? Are there any hidden things inside the shaft ????

Break those plastic pin's and the steering shaft will be able to move.It will be Very tight, but it will move with the help of a hammer.
Personally I'd just loosen the steering column mounting bolts, connect things and retighten the mounting bolts. Yes it's a little more involved but our vehicles have so FEW saftey features I'd want to keep the ones we DO have, intact.

That's what I was thinking. The plastic pins were probably inserted at factory to help with assembly,as is a lot of other things on cars and trucks.
Not always designed to help the guy wrenching years later. Thanks for the input
