I haven't read anything about an El-Camino frame swap?
I have a '51 5 window and I can pick up a dead '78 El-camino pretty cheap. I haven't read into any swaps. The Elky's WB is 117. Should be pretty close. Is it because the frame is too close to the ground?

Actually it probably has more to do with how the frame ( on the El Camino) widens just past the firewall. If memory serves correctly, those frames run out to the side of the body, making the swap difficult to mount the cab and bed.
Then again, I could be completely wrong on my thoughts..
