Summer trucks show recommendations

Hi guys,
Am thinking about summer vacation or late fall whatever i can.(coming from Scotland).... Am looking for suggestions on truck shows to come over for, any recommendations for good ones?
Possibly also combined close to vette shows sequential weekends but not an issue if not... not too bothered about location.. have been to florida, carolina and Texas previously but am open to new places..
Any suggestions/ recommendations.. Carlisle???

Cheers
Lee

YOU CAN CLICK ON THE "BOARD MEETS" TAB FOR ALOT OF THE
SHOWS THE MEMBERS HERE HAVE POSTED, IF YOU ARE TRYING
FOR 67-72 TYPE SHOWS, THERE ARE NOT AS MANY AS STREET
ROD TYPE SHOWS, HERE IS JUST MY OPINION ON THE SHOWS,

HOT RODS - CARLISLE, CALIFORNIA

4X4'S - INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA

67-72 ONLY - CHOOSE A STATE

NEW / CUSTOM - SEMA, VEGAS

AUCTION - BJ IN SCOTTSDALE, AZ.

I'm still pretty new to the truck thing having just gotten mine last fall, but I can tell you the Carlisle Corvette show isincredible, so you may want to try to find a truck show to coincide with it. I'm fortunate enough to have buddies that have a lot more money than me so they caravan their Vettes to Carlisle every summer, about 200 miles from here. Last summer we had a 57 fuelie with 14000 miles, (yes that's right and yes they are verified orginial, and yes it was driven), a 62 with a 350 horse 327, I rode in my buddies hot rodded 66 convertible and a 67 300 horse 327 coupe. Can you tell I'm a Corvette nut? I will one day own one. In fact I see my Z28 as just a stepping stone to where I really want to be.
