rearend ratio
Does anybody know the possible gear ratio for a 68 1/2 ton 307 with 3 spd column. Thanks.

check your glove box door it may tell you. if not pull the diff cover and count the gears. the the number of teeth on the ring and divide by the number of teeth on the pinion.

Most likely it is a 3.73 onless otherwise optioned. If I remember correctly, the 3.07 gear was only standard with an automatic and small block.
