Flat Beds

Im looking to turn my truck into a flat bed, interested in any and all pics of flat bed trucks, head ache bars, stacks behind the cab etc. Im going to turn my truck into a "bubba mobile" as my parents say.

Mine, but I'm taking the flat bed off, and putting a dually bed on it.

Thanks alot guys. Im thinking of making one like the yellow 67-72 with a storage box underneath on the pasinger side so I can store stuff to keep it out of the cab and weather. Thanks again, and if any one has anymore that they are willing to share, bring 'em on!

fyi this one is mine.

heres a better picture of it from yesterday. flatbed i guess it can be called but its a dump bed.

next project is going to be a 73-87 crewcab longbed 4x4 frame with a 50's or 60's regular cab on it and as long a flatbed as i can build, probably in the neighborhood of 13 feet long. have a line on a k30 crewcab diesel dually for a donor driveline.

There a few other's out there, but here's a link where I guy detailed building one, however it's on an S-10. Not bad for ideas. After I cut the stake body off mine and replaced it with factory fleetside, the weight difference was very noticeable. After seeing how the wooden floor retained so much water and caused rot, I wouldn't use one again but it was better in the snow.

That belongs to "Joesjunk" and without a doubt it's the nicest flatbed I've ever seen. His is the reason I'm building one
