Profitabel? You can't make a profit on a 55. They cost way too much for a rusted out hulk.
These are way more profitable than 55's ever will be.

if your asking if our trucks will ever be as valuable as the Tri-Fives....in my opinion....NO.

You may see the true Cheyenne Supers approach the same numbers as a nice Bel Air...some aready are if you judge this by some of the prices being asked on eBay. But I dont think we will see the plain ol' C-10's bring the same kind of money that a base model 2 door 150 or 210 are bringing now.

The reason I say this is the fact that there were tons more of these trucks produced (in lots of different models - C-10's CST's. Customs, Cheyenne's, Cheyenne Supers, and then you throw in all the different models availible across the 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton platforms, and all of these can be SWB's, LWB's, and/ or Stepside's, Fleetside's, etc.....). These trucks were produced for 6 years....while these cars were only produced for 3 years and were only offered in very few models (Bel Air, 210, and 150...could be more, but I am unusre).

As long as these trucks can still be found on the road as daily drivers and in the salvage yards, they wont go as high in value. Once they disappear from the roads and yards...then they will start to climb in value a lot more.

Just my two cents....for whatever its worth.

Hey Shane, don't forget the Nomads and wagons!

67lwbfleet,
If your talking about the tri-five Pickups, the 67-72s are fast approching their values!

take a look at the Truck Value Guide
And the Vehicle Condition or Class Scale
