The benches do, so I would think the buckets would also. Just drill a couple extra holes like you do for the benches is probably all it takes. But, no I have not seen anyone on the board that I can remember that used them.

I guess anything will fit with the help of a MIG Welder and a Plasma Cutter :bansex:

I think they will fit. Ricks Truck Parts in Mesa, AZ did a complete ground up restoration on a 72 GMC Jimmy. They installed a set ot leather bucket seats from a late model Tahoe. Looked awesome. You might want to contact them to ask questions.

They fit trucks if your real skinny and short, the back is too thick to make it comfortable while driving. They work great in burbs and blazers. My opinion.

I'm taking the gas tank out of the cab, so that should help.

I would also like to know if anybody here has installed them by just using some of the old holes. I'd like to see what they did to bolt down the other holes. Drublazer made some brackets to mount his.

These seat are from and 01 sierra.....They look like a fairly easy mockup for my 68. I wish they were leather though and not cloth. maybe Ill sell them and get leathers

I'm mounting those same style seats in my K20. There are some pics of the brackets I have made in the link that yellow69 posted.

When using those seats the bracketry better tie into all of the factory seat belt holes as well as the seat mounting holes or the integral seat belts will tear the seat right out of the floor during an accident. If your trucks were not original bucket trucks then a bench floor must be reiforced for any kind of buckets integral or not. Stock bucket trucks had extra underfloor reinforcements that must be duplicated for any kind of safe bucket seat mounting. At that I doubt the factory stuff is quite stout enough to keep the front of the seat from submarining through the floor with all of the belt loading in the seat back. I work extensively with seats and seat mounting as a part of my job and I wouldn't let anybody I care about ride in a seat like that without some thoughtful engineering.

I have 04 trailblazer power seats ive been trying to fit into my truck for some time now and its not an easy chore. The easy way would be to shim the seat level but im 6'2" and if you do that your head is less than 3 inches from the roof and your gut is about 5 inches from a tilt wheel so im having to notch out a section of the cab floor and sink the seats down in it and i am also having to slide the tilt colum down further/ shorten it by about 4 " to make it decently comfortable.

If i had to do it all over again i would look for seats out of a car so that you dont have the head clearance issues.
