Jimmy Question.......

I know that the first year for K5's was 1969, but I am pretty sure that the Jimmy's started later...... being that I have been looking for a 70 (like the grille) and haven't seen one, did they not come out until 71 or 72??
take it easy!

I beleive 70 was the first year for Jimmys. GMC's web page has a history, or they used to, that said what year.

Smile

I don't have a clue about the grille, I just wanted to tell you that you sure do have a cute smile.

1970 was indeed the first year for the GMC Jimmy. Go to Google search (www.google.com), and just type in "1970 GMC Jimmy" and pick one. Happy Hunting!

Sorry I can't provide a pic, but the board has a limit on the size of attachments.

Oh, and I have to say this. If I could find a lady like yourself that was as into these trucks or even classic cars in general that looked like you, I would die a happy man.

Leave the pic in the sig, PLEASE!!! It's the highlight of the board, wish we had some other good lookin' girls showin' a pretty smile on this board. It always brightens my day when you post and I get to see that smile, and that's a good thing!

From the GM site:

1970 - The Jimmy is born–in 2WD or 4WD with a removable hardtop. It competes in the off-road vehicle market.
