The old 350 …then the new 454HO in my 78’ K10.
Not exactly a daily driver but not show quality either. (Serpentine belt conversion on both engines)

Kevin -
is that the harmonic balancer that came off of that motor? - just curious cause it looks more like a 305 balancer than a 350. besides looks like you did a pretty sweet job on the motor and used all new hardware and stuff (ARP headbolts?) why not go with a new balancer?

That's the balancer that came off of it. I am considering a new one though as the rubber is cracked pretty good and don't want to take any chances. And yes the headbolts are new ARP. All the externals are ARP stainless. I don't want any rust if I can help it. Now I'm just waiting on a serpentine belt system to arrive so I can get that on. After that then I should be good to go to get everything into the truck. Just in time for warm weather cruising. WhooHoo!!!!!

Is that the TBI setup on the 355? Cant really tell but I'm pretty sure it is, and the knock sensor in the block. Did you put a better camshaft or anything like that in the 355? I know there isn't much room to play with TBI and it being a daily driver but was curious anyway. Isn't the 93 your teal green short bed?
Looking pretty good
