tailgate and hatch whats it worth
I am trying to buy a 71 suburban for parts, it has a very good and complete tailgate and hatch can any one tell me what it's worth or If they would be interested. also both side windows I would not need.

Its just my opinion ofcourse, but I would value a completely rust free hatch @ about $125-150, And a completely rust free gate at $200 or more. But that is what I would pay. Others may not. Especally people in the drier desert areas.

I would say about the same. If I desperately needed a gate or hatch & it HAD to be 100% rust free, I would pay those prices as long as they were straight but if they are rusty or banged up, between $50 & $75 ea is all I would go... Out by you and further west, I would say that they would go for even less...

Out here you would pay more than that for a rust free upper hatch, which is harder to find then the lower gate.

I just sold a rust free hatch for $200.00 And it had some dings on the inside. Woody

What the hell is the deal with these hatches? My whole body has very little rust but the hatch $UCKS~! I need one too. 200.00 for the first rust free with very little or no damage that comes my way~!

I was looking for one for my burb,the lower in great condition, but the upper has rust where the latch connects,Im trying to work a deal on a totally rust free one in excellent shape,Im gonna offer fifty bucks for both upper and lower with the softray glass still intact, Its at a wrecking yard/crushing yard so he will be happy to get that,the bad thing about it is thats the only thing left on the burb even worth saving.Glad to know Im getting a bargain.
