Gas tank wiring question
I will be putting in a new cab tank in my truck. I need to know where the sender wire plugs into the dash, since there aren't any wires going back there now. PO was going to put in a suburban tank and never did. In the mean time, I'm running off the aux tank, which has no gauge, so is a little inconvienient.
I am assuming it's going to be two wires into some type of plug, but I really have no idea where. My truck is a 72 and the tank/sender is out of a 67. Any other tank installing advice? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if the 67 tank is any different than the 72. In a stock 72 there is one wire that goes from the sending unit to the top middle plug on the fuse box. The fuse box is labeled "fuel gauge". Factory wiring takes over from there and sends it to your gauge cluster.
Hope this helps, Brad
