Some one recommended an in-expensive and low to the ground engine stand for storing and engine under a bench or such. Anyone tell me where to buy these?

Well, I don't think it's so low to the ground, but Sams club has a Goodyear rolling engine stand right now that will hold 1500lbs for $67. It's blue with adjustable yellow arms that move for mounting to any bolt pattern.

That's not a bad price for a regular height style but I really prefer one that's low to the ground so that I can get it under a bench. Thanks for the info tho!

Stop by your dealership and get a couple of the wooden crates off crate engine in the shop area. I'd imagine they will give them to you. Once they put a crate engine into a vehicle, they throw the wooden crate away.

Every crate engine comes in a nice little wooden holder. Put 12 bucks worth of Harbor Freight casters on it. That's what I did, and yes, they roll under my bench, out of the way.

Or build one yourself. Isn't any harder than some of the other stuff we try to do to our trucks. Have made them they're simple!
