72 Front Clip FS in IL

Front clip off of 72 Suburban, complete w/rad support, fenders and hood. There is VERY LITTLE rust at all on these, there is a little surface rust on the bottom rear corners on each side but it isn't through. I think its mainly because of the holes from the trim pieces that were there. It looks like it could be easily sanded, primered and taken care of. The passenger fender has a few tiny holes on the top of it, but they are really small and shouldn't be hard to fix. The hood has a few small holes in the front of it that appeared after I sanded the hood when I primered it. Grille is in good condition w/one crack around the top left mount but it still looks great, probably the best piece on the truck lol. The radiator support is good except for some rust on the bottom around where the inner fenders bolt up but it should be useable. The inner fenders aren't great but I can include them too as long as I don't have any problems removing them.

I'm just trying to get rid of these so I don't feel guilt when I end up scrapping what is left of the truck when I part it out, and so it'll be a little easier to pull the motor/trans. Clip is located in Brimfield, IL and must be picked up. How does $300 sound? OBO, make me an offer if you don't like the price. Front clip is still on the burb so give me some notice before you come to pick it up so I can remove it for you, unless you would like to remove it yourself, If you want when you get here, you can remove any other parts you like from the suburban besides motor, tranny and a/c lines for free.

Front clip also comes w/bumper if you want it and like I said before, whatever parts you want lol. If you are serious and want some better pics then I can take some w/my digi cam tomorrow. These pics were taken on a regular camera when I first got the burb last summer.

The rest of the body is pretty much shot, needs patches in the all 4 corners of the floors, wheelwell patches and corners. It needs rockers and cab mounts too but I have those. Not really the best project unless your really ambitious.

Well if you saw my last project you might just say i am plain stupid .
Tell me what you think . Got any idea what you need for the rolling body and front three doors. You have any pics of the floor rust .I am not afraid to do the work just as long as its worth doin . When it comes to money i sometines have to compensate with ambition .

I'd take $400 for the whole thing, I can get more pics of the inside rust and everything. I'm being totally honest here, unless you want it for the rear end, frame or front suspension its not a great project, it needs every panel replaced except the third door(it does have a dent but its just from my buddy falling into it and would be no problem to pull out) and front clip. If you want the whole thing, give me 2 weeks to remove motor and trans. Just let me know what you want pics of, shoot me a PM on what you wanna see, and I can get em up tomorrow.

c1072, from the looks of that jeep I'd say your pretty darn ambitious. The burb needs floor patches(you could put in just any sheetmetal if you didn't wanna buy pans, thats what I was gonna do, rockers, cab mounts(I have them), wheelarch patch and rear bottom patch on right side, and basically the whole left side. Like I said, I have rockers, inner rockers, and new cab mounts thats probably worth $70 right there in parts you don't have to spend. If you want the whole thign then just PM me an offer, I just need it gone so I can make room for more toys.

Heres the bumper pics, has one dent on the drivers side but it could be fixed. On the drivers side there is a spot where the chrome is coming off, but that'll happen on 33 year old chrome. As you can see the grille is really nice though. Just PM me an offer, I want it outta here.
