I Think That Is A Lil Much, Jmho, Now If It Was A Banded Tailgate, Maybe It Would Pull That Amount

I don't think the five hun is too awful bad imo, since a cheap repo will set you back about two hun with shipping and it's crap Randy

CAN SNIPE IT AT THE END FOR $500 IF NO ONE BIDS, I JUST HAVE BEEN
ALWAYS TOLD THAT THE BANDED TYPE, CST MAYBE?, IS WORTH MORE.

Very nice tailgate needless to say, but I for one think the price is way too much, but I know there is someone out there that is more than willing to pay that for it.I know the reproduction ones are scrap at least thats what Ive seen in the past, not sure of they have changed any.Now maybe if it had a nice tailgate band with some flawless trim, then MAYBE...

Frank, You don't know how much I would like to have that GMC gate. I looked at it in your post. I am not much for the 60-66 years, but that thing is NICE!! The dealer sticker is a plus!! I do have a take off 60-66 chevy, but it isn't on a wall yet.

if i had crazy money sitting here i would have bought that for sure.. i want to get a gate like that to replace the one with the wood grain trim.. i dont like the woodgrain. looks like junk. like the imprinted chevrolet in the back with the white. would have loved something like that

do the repro stuff really not fit that well?

Joe, Are you the guy that had all those gates lined up on end in your basement? I thought you had more than that or was that another board member? It was an impressive picture!!!! Maybe you are just now getting them all hung. I would like to see more pics of the room. The corrugated roof cieling looks trick. More pics please!!!!
