cup holder kit
Purchased from Wes at Classic Heartbeat. Thought I was buying from a "board vendor" since I followed a link from the main page. Have since learned I was wrong. My bad. Still, service was great. Recieved confirmation of on-line purchase the next morning. Package arrived 4 day later. Good transaction.
Unit was from Old Air Products. Instructions were good. Mods to ash tray itself were easy with little chance to screw up. Accessing dash requires removing stereo and glove box and unscrewing the climate control panel. Removing instrument cluster makes it easier but is not required. After installation, unit is as advertised. Totally invisible when closed. Action is smooth and effortless. Kinda bummed about the upper "rings". They are spring loaded closed. Takes a bit of practice to put your cup in it one-handed. Holds my coffee mug perfectly. Max cup size is a lil bigger than a 12oz soda can.... You guys that drink outta those 32oz horse troughs are hosed. Great mod that is frequently used. Would buy again.
