CarDefender Killswitch

Found these guys on the net that have a pretty cool looking killswitch
that is proximity activated. Anyone every used one?

Looks neat, but I can do basically the same thing w/ $5 switch.

speaking of killswitches, anyone have a good idea on wiring in a cheapo light switch or a $2 toggle?

Easy - splice it in line with the ignition wire - either the one going to the starter or the one between the key and the fusebox.

You can pretty much expect any semi-skilled theif to find either of them unless you have a hood lock and you're hiding the switch in there - but then, if they pop the hood ... better be well hidden!
