testing the waters- possible 454 core for sale

I`m getting low on money and thinking of selling my 454. I got it from another member to put in my 68 but the lack of funds has made me think about selling it. I was told it was out of a 84 1 ton or some big truck. the shortblock is complete but one head is off. they are the 236 casting peanut ports anyway. it has most of the brackets on it and has a remote fill pwr steering set up of some kind, I don`t think it`s all there. there is also a piece to run a oil cooler from the filter pad. I can`t remember how many miles the guy told me it had but he said it was recently overhauled but it`s standard bore so maybe just a ring and bearing job. I`m including a set of 820 casting heads in the deal. They are bare and need to be redone. The runners are the same size as the 049 and 781 that everyone wants but they have a 113cc chamber instead of 119 so they will raise the compression about a 1/2 a point from the listed compression w/119cc heads. The motor is a 2 bolt cast crank and is a standard deck motor. I`ll also throw in a extra set of 3/8 rods. I`m asking $500 firm for everything and will be a pick up only. any less than that and I`ll just keep it. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks.
