We usually Fly to Maine to visit my folks for a week in the summer. The problem is this year we still don't have the CC bills paid off from last year's trip so we are vacationing here instead. We plan a trip down to the black hills middle of July. Grandma and Grandpa will have to come here if they want to see the kids.

We are thinking about renting a condo in Whistler BC. With the favorable exchange rate, you can rent a nice condo for around US$50! Mountain biking, hiking, hot tubs; sounds good to me.

Check out www.alluradirect.com to browse the condos that are for rent!

With the family we are either going to Mammoth,CA for some fishing for a week before i leave or dad thought of heading up to a few of the lakes north of us and doing some camping/fishing i guess. Not sure what the plan is now.

Next vacation with boys from school will be to Cancun, for spring break. Should be great seeing tons of .... well nevermind. I just gotta get my gf to stop trying to strangle me when i bring it up.

Kicking around the idea of going to Silver Dollar City/Branson. Kids would enjoy that I'm sure - Okay, so would I. Just not sure yet.

Taking the family to Orange Beach, AL for a week at the beach. I'm also headed to New Hampshire for a weeklong hike in the White Mountains on the Appalachian Trail. Started hiking it in Georgia in 1989 - 1,800 miles down, about 360 to go.

My wife has also committed to accompany me to a car show/swap meet somewhere in the Southeast.

ProStreet and Yukon. Let me know if you make it to the area. I love Table Rock and the local area. I'm gonna retire there one day! Where is the condo in Kimberling City? We usually stay at the Kimberling Inn, but we are staying around the Aunt's Creek area this summer. We will be there Aug 2 - 11 and probably a few times in between.

Taking the family on a little adventure camping in Denali. Then a little further south to Seward Alaska. Nothing like combat fishing and battleing with the bears for your catch.

Well, this year looks like three vacations...

Wife gave me a trip to Jamaca this January (HEDO III).
Just took a week in Yosemite last week,

And Hedo called and gave us a free week back in Jamaca in Oct.

1971Stepside - The condo is on the other side of the bridge about 1/2 miles, I think that would be to the south. Its kind of hidden up into the hills right off the road. We'll be up there the 19-21st. If your in the area come on up!

Talking

Branson and the lakes seems pretty popular on this board, i live about 2hrs from there. It is pretty cool, but the whole area becomes a zoo in the summer :S. The best time to go to Silver Dollar City is in early May before the crowds get there...you usually dont have to wait to get on the rides . Anyway, im going through Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California for my vacation, with my family. We are going to see my stepdad's mom, who lives a little north of San Francisco. Hopefully, we will go rafting on the Green River in Utah. I love going to the west, and i haven't been in a few years. I cant wait until we leave on Saturday .

Just finished ours last week. Went to Emerald Isle N.C. Beautiful place, didn't want to come home. Went fishing a few days, played a couple of rounds of golf, just an all around good time. Planning on going to Smith Mountain Lake or Lake Gaston for a four day weekend later in the summer. Work sucks, give me the beach........Later..........JB

Yes, I too am also interested in this foreign concept of "Vacation". I have seen its reference used many times, but I do not have the necessary information to process its meaning correctly, or to the fullest capacity.

More data, please.
