done!!! water sanding time:(

ok so its done, well other than the pinstripe and the wet sanding ans compound but mostly there i layed the orange this morning and then the HOK flake, the flake looks 6000000 times better in person its insane under the booth lights the sun is gonna make it go nuts well heres the step by step for those who asked ---o yeah it feels alot better to stand back and look at it knowing you did it your self from frame to body/paint doesnt seen like ive had it for 2 1/2 years!!! -kyle

Can't wait to see it with the clear coat in the daylight! That is some really big metal flake in there. What size tip is required to spray that? Are those your taillight holes in the tailgate? Where are the back-up lights or did you lose them? I can't wait to see the full on shot of the rear of your truck.

thanks for all the complements to answer some questions no i dint paint the inside but now im painting the glove box and gague cluster like the trck 2 tone black/orangeflake the hood doesnt exist anymore, im gonna buy a hood with a 5'' cowl to cover the motor. no rev lights on this rig, i just used our hvlp primer gun to spray the flake the tip is oversized but im nnot sure of the # any other questions just ask ill get outside pics dont u worry -kyle

all the paint is ppg, i used omni clear and dbu color the flake doesnt look as good in the pics in person it goes nuts at all angles


im sure some of you long time 67-72 board guys remember when it looked like this its came a long way and ive learned so much from this truk being it was my first car and all -kyle
