I have the short stepside. I measured my cross sills and came up with the following;
(3) of them are 49 1/2" long. At the base where they sit on the frame they are 2 3/4" wide and at the top where the wood sits -1 1/2" wide. Now, these three are 2 1/4" high. The shorter one has the same dimensions, but it is 1" high. I know it takes three of the taller sills, but I could find only one of the shorter ones, and for some reason I was thinking it took two of the shorter ones. Not sure on that. However, if you have a LMC book, they have a good exploded view of the stepside bed. This will give you an idea of what these sills look like. They just do not list the quantity needed...it states "as required". Also, LMC lists the length of the taller ones at 49 7/8" long, but I went back and remeasured mine and they are 49 1/2" long. To my knowledge mine are unaltered. I don't think this matters...just an FYI. Hope this helps. |
