C10 suspension VS C20 suspension
Do the leaf springs and hardware differ between a C10 and C20?
Reason I'm asking is because my truck was converted from a Diesel to a gas 350 q-jet set up. I've very certain my suspension was never changed over. Because I still had diesel type rear end gears. I plan to drop my truck to 3/5 drop. Do I need to buy all matching leaf springs if I use a rear flip kit? Made for a C10 If infact my rear suspension is big (heavy duty).

Dont know how thick your springs are, but if there any thicker than mine which are 3 liefs with a real thick lief on the bottom as a helper spring, then i would because the thing might ride really rough over R/R trax, and pot holes, and such. I remember even with the springs i've got, they made it seem that the pore bed was gonna fly off after i hit a rough set of tracks a little to fast, but that was before i tore it all down to do a grownd up resto. Good Luck

What you will need to find out is if you have 52in leafsprings or 56in leafsprings (HD). What year and load capacity (1/2-3/4-1 ton) is the truck your talking about? What type rear end does it have (10 12 or 14 bolt)?

The size/length of the springs won't matter for a flip kit though.
