205 front out put ??

my 205 has a 10 splined front yoke outout i want to turn it into one of the flange types. all of the flange type ones i can find seem to be fine splined. do they make a 10 spline flange style and does anyone have one. i want to use that style because i have a few of the cv flange driveshafts that i could use to save money.

thanks
stan

your out of luck on that one....the only way to get flange front output is to change to a 30 spline or 32 spline output...its a relatively simple swap with the case in the truck....easier yet with the case out....heres a link to a place you can get new outputs and parts for a good price and good customer service...http://www.northwestfab.com/

i have a 205 in my garage that has the flange i need

its the 30 spline type shaft. it is for a manual tranny though. will that matter? how hard is it going to be to take the shaft out of that one and put in mine? it sounds like i could do it and not have to spend anything! which is exactly what im looking for. Know of any sites or a place where i can get directions?
thanks

i havent gotten to it yet

all i have done so far is get the shaft i need out of the parts case and got my truck into the garage. i dont think it will be much of a problem its actually not as complicated as i thought it was going to be. im going to take the whole transmission/tcase out and reseal around the adapter where it has been leaking. i also need to fix the speedo cable from leaking. ill take some pictures so that incase someone else is doing it it may help them.

thanks
