Truck wiggles?
I know they're big, and I know older cars will have speeds where they wobble a bit, but how bad, and should it happen at 55, and then 75 mph only? It's not bad, just curious. I am in need of an alignment though, I figure. Will that fix it?

sometimes.... it can be a combinations of things or one specific thing including:
tires, shocks, alignment, bearings, brakes, something in the steering (column, control box, steering arm), U-joint on drive shaft, plus numerous other things... if you know you need an alignment anyways get that done then have it checked piece by piece

my 87 had a wiggle and the steering seemed lose. I had the front end aligned and... it was gone. I asked what parts they replaced and he said in these big trucks sometimes it just needs to be tightened up and aligned because the tired flex so much.
Only cost me a front end alignment I think it was less than $45.00 Hope that helps Scott
