Yoke needed for TH350C

I have the transmission out of my truck for a rebuild. While replacing the u-joints, I found out that the yoke that goes into the tail of my TH350C is grooved. Does anyone know of a source for a new one?

The dealer says the part is discontinued. A driveshaft place around here wants $60 for a new one. Anyone know of a cheaper source? It is the one with the vent hole in it, and it uses the inner clips.

Thanks,

Slonaker

None of the auto parts stores have any idea what I'm talking about. They say they can't get a yoke or a sleeve. An acquaintance with a front end shop says the sleeves are available, but that they cost $20 and have to be pressed on.

I can get a new yoke from a driveshaft place locally for $60, but I was hoping there would be something available cheaper by mail order.

I have a 81 drive shaft off a th350c in my garage right now, and the tranny is in the dumpster, Im not sure what your needing can you clearify for me I bet I can help you out. if you want the yoke you can have it jus pay for the ride. the U joints are the type with clips on the outside of the u-joint caps for retainer.

I apologize...I just saw your post. I need the yoke that goes into the back of the transmission. Mine has a groove where the seal rides on it. Unfortunately mine uses the inner clips to retain the u-joint, and I just replaced it with a new u-joint.

I really appreciate the offer.
