tilt steering - will an 83 fit an 84
Will an 83 tilt steering work on an 84?

The column will fit, but the wiring will be different between due to the column mounted turn signals, wipers, and dimmer on the 84.

Man that is good news. I bought it thinking 81-87 all fit the same then I saw several on ebay that said fits 84-87. My 84 has the dimmer, wipers and signal on the col. and is automatic. THe 83 has the same.........and I think plus cruise. THanks again |

The 83's have nothing on the column, but the turn signal, and tilt lever, on the 84-87 they but in the wiper control, and the dimmer switch on the column.
