odd factory coolent by-pass
Yesterday I went to look at a couple of trucks. The 68 C30 has a 327 engine. Under the thermostat housing was a spacer that had 2 bypass hoses wrapping around the oil fill pipe and meeting at the top of the waterpump with a T fitting. The hoses looked to be 1 to 1-1/8" id. Very strange looking. It was a factory item because it had GM cast on it with gm looking part numbers. Anybody ever see one of these?
