Question light switch removal

How in the heck do you remove the light switch so I can remove the instrument cluster?

Reach up under the dash to the top of the light switch, there is a spring loaded button on top of the switch, you have to push it down and pull the switch button out.

Reach up in behind the dash and feel for a release button on top of the swith housing. This button will release the stem and knob so that you can pull that out of the way, and the rest you will see.

Cool

If you turn the knob all the way to the left it will unscrew itself, but it was glued from the factory, I have never done this reaching up under the dash deal. It does work I'm sure but a lot of trouble to get to. I also put new knobs on my 71 that have set screw in them also though.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
