63 Disc Convertion

I have a totaled 72 C10 with disc up front. I have a friend that like to try and put the disc set up off the 72 on his 63. Has any one ever tried this and will it work if so hard is it.

disk brake conversion

It is a bolt in mod, make sure you get everything from the '72. You might have to drill a couple of extra holes for the Xmember, and you will have to do a few mods on the firewall for the brake booster. You will also split your brake lines in two seperate systems. Don't forget to buy the bleeder tool for the proportioning valve, so you can bleed the brakes. DO NOT bolt the steering box to the frame, make sure you get an adapter plate (REZ engineering sells one).
