Bed Floor Question

I also own a 65 longbed. Does anyone know a site that has the original dimensions of the wood boards in the floor of the bed, as far as widths of the individual boards? Has anyone used different materials or techniques for the stainless strips inbetween the boards?

A very informative article for sure. I am planning to redo my flatbed. Been eye balling 1x6 oak at the home depot and figure to put an oak stain and marine varathane finish. Any ideas where to get the wear strips? I'd imagine they'd come in kits for standard beds, but my flatbed would require 9' lengths.
