Alternator charging

How many volts should a int reg alternator be sending to a battery at say 1500 rpm with no lights on? Reason I ask is this is because I checked mine and its getting about 14.25-14.30 and if i turn on the light it goes to about 14.15-14.20 isnt this a little high?

That's just fine. You want around 14.4V at both the alternator & the battery.
