WTB: Long Fleetside Bed

Ok, I'm always seeing where the SWB guys are tripping over perfect longbeds in their search for the shortbed parts, so someone point me to a decent bed for the '69.

The one we have is fixable, but both sides and the floor need work so it's worthwhile to check for a suitable replacement. The perfect bed for us has no trim holes and a decent tailgate, and as long as I'm dreaming, a straight step bumper. Minor dings and surface rust OK, but the idea is for less work, not more. Condition/location determines price, condition being most important.

North / West TX is easy for us, as is Oklahoma.

Post back in the thread or PM, I'll watch both. Pics are a definite plus.

Thanks...SSOW

Lwb from a 68 with the trim holes welded shut. No tailgate [wouldn't let me have it] It's a wood floor [wood bad] NO ROT 98.5% straight -sides are like excellent. $400 smbker@cox.net "can send pics" Have a steel bottom ["just bottom"] with small amount of rust some dents $100

Thanks, cadiac. Hmmm...wood beds are purty, but that's a whole different project. I'll pass on that one.

I'm playing by the board rules (I hope), so if I pass, anyone else is welcome.

I have one here with no rust or trim holes for $900.00. Pretty nice Steel floor, has a gate, but it is not very good. It has some dings, but no big dents. I can get pics, but it is packed in the shop right now. I can get it out this weekend if you are interested.

Thanks, Joe. Sounds like what we're looking for, but that would blow the budget. Guess I'll keep looking.
