Mud Rules & Categories

MONSTER MUD RULES 2005
April 17th season opener
(prize money shown for this 1st race is estimated - actual will be 100% payback)

CLASS 1 $35.00 Entry
• Minimum 14" wide tires on rear OR they will run at the end of the race order in this class
• Drive shaft loop over 20"
• Helmets Mandatory
• Exhaust must exit away from spectators & officials
• Kill switch recommended

• 1st $250, t-shirt & 5pts
• 2nd - $150 & 4pts
• 3rd –$100 & 3pts.

CLASS 2 $35.00 entry
• 40" tires & under
• NO nitrous, blowers, super chargers, multiple carbs or after market injection
• Cab, axles & engine must remaining stock location
• Open exhaust • Helmets Mandatory
• NO cut tires but regrooving allowed
• 1st - $150, t-shirt & 5pts
• 2nd - $100 & 4pts
• 3rd - $50 & 3pts
CLASS 3 $35.00 entry
• V8's must have 36" & under DOT tires
• 6 cylinders & 4's can run any size DOT tires
• Cab, axles and engines must remain in stock location
• Exhaust must have mufflers & extend past driver's compartment
• NO nitrous, blowers, super chargers, multiple carbs or after market injection
• Helmets mandatory
• No cut tires, regrooving allowed
• 1st - $150 ,t-shirt& 5pts
• 2nd - $100 & 4 pts.
• 3rd - $50 & 3 pts.
CLASS 4 $20.00 entry
• V8's must have 33" & UNDER dot TIRES
• Single cam 6 cylinders can run 36" DOT tires
• Cab, axles and engines must remain in stock location
• 4 cylinders can run ANY DOT
• Exhaust must have mufflers and extend past driver's compartment
• NO nitrous, blowers, super chargers, multiple carbs or after market injection
• No cut tires, regrooving allowed
• 1st - $100, t-shirt & 5pts.
• 2nd- $75 & 4pts.
• 3rd - $40 & 3pts
CLASS 5 $20.00 entry
• V8's must have 31"and under DOT tires
• Single cam 6 cylinders can run 33"DOT tires
• Cab, axles and engines must remain in stock location
• 4 bangers can run ANY DOT tire
• No headers EXCEPT 4 cylinders
• Exhaust must be within twelve inches of rear axle
• NO performance chips on 6's & V8's
• 1st -$100, t-shirt & 5pts.
• 2nd - $75 & 4pts.
• 3rd - $40 & 3pts.
CLASS 6 $35.00 entry
• Any tire, any size may be used
• Must have stock-appearing body
• Stock frames only
• 12" maximum motor set back
• Drive shaft loops over 20"
• Kill switch recommended
• Helmets mandatory
• 1st - $250, t-shirt & 5pts.
• 2nd - $150 & 4pts.
• 3rd - $100 & 3pts.
CLASS 7 $5 ENTRY
* Run- For- Fun
* Run what you brung -
*ATV's, old Ford Pick-ups etc.
* 1st - Gift Certificate
* 2nd - T- Shirt
Gates open 10 am – Admission $5, 6 & under free
• Drivers meeting at NOON – at sign up tent
• Entry fee is $20 to $35
• Topless vehicles MUST have roll cages
• Seat belts in all classes
• Class 1 & 6 – 5 point harness recommended
• Protests & disputes to be decided by judges
• NO COOLERS OR COOKING ALLOWED ON PROPERTY, ALL OF THE AREA IS LICENSED BY THE STATE OF MISSOURI FOR LIQUOR & BEER SALES; YOU MUST BE 21 TO CONSUME. Wrist bands will be applied upon admission.
Please bring your favorite lawn chair so you'll have a front row seat Points - 10 points for Class Entry plus; 1st place car &driver – 5 points, 2nd- 4pts., 3rd – 3pts., 4th – 2pts, 5th – 1pt.
Schedule- Sundays March 20th, April 17th,(April 30th. non-point race) May 22nd, June12th, July 17th,Aug. 21th, Sept 18th, Oct. 16th, Nov.20th. End of season Point leaders will receive Trophies, Gift Certificates & more !

well shoot I forgot about it, we were planning on going to Memphis for SC but didnt so I never marked my calender. we will have to try the next one...

Yep Randy has a real nice rig to play in the mud he always seems to finish just a little faster than me. But that all is going to change. Going to install a bigger throttlebody and a new pipe let the little 6 banger breath a little better and I think I will close the gap. You guys will have to come out and play with us. We are trying to put in a rock course also. Its always fun mud wrestling and it is at a big sports complex and bar.
